There are many places in the world that are very different from each other. Some places are very cold, some very warm or even hot. In some places it rains a lot, and in others it is mostly dry. There are places with many trees and places with no trees at all. These different places are called biomes and each biome has different characteristics.

We have seen five different biomes: the aquatic biome, desert biome, forest biome, grassland biome, and tundra biome. These biomes are defined by their climate, plant and animal life and can be found in various places in the earth. Each biome also has its own ecosystem.
